Prototype of a low power energy harvesting using piezoelectric transducer for common stationary workout

2017
This report is to discuss on energy harvesting using piezoelectric transducer for common workout such as jogging, walking, lunges, squatting and sit-up. A series of piezoelectric transducers were attached under a rubber mat together with a suitable signal conditioning circuit. The output is connected to a data logger Omron zr-rx25 for data collection. Three students conducted the workouts stationary on a mat for one minute non-stop and the data in voltages have been analyzed.
