ENDODONTIC MANAGEMENT OF TWO ROOTED MANDIBULAR CANINE

2013
The clinical report describes the endodontic management of the two rooted mandibular canine which reported to the department of Conservative dentistry and Endodontics . Clinical examination revealed the mandibular canine with deep carious lesion which failed to elicit any response to electric pulp testing. Radiograghic examination revealed, deep carious lesion with loss of lamina dura and periodontal ligament widening with the evidence of two roots with two root canals. This further emphasizes the knowledge of anatomical variations and aberrations in the mandibular canine and to change the perception of the clinician that a given tooth will contain a specific number of roots and or / root canals.
