2020
This work aims to expose the advances in the theoretical discussion, based on some empirical evidence, about the way how leaders of the Mapuche movement in Chile analyze the current historical situation and the perspectives on the relations of the Chilean national state and the movement of the Mapuche people. The discussion is made from three dimensions that, at the same time, articulate the development of the article, namely (a) exclusion and the role of the state and the media; (b) the inclusion and role of public policies; and (c) the resistance and current challenge of an offensive strategy. It is considered how these dimensions are observed in their historical trajectory, in their current behavior and how they are valued in the projection of the Mapuche movement.
