System architecture for managing a communication network (N) including network equipments, the said associated a control interfaces (if_N, if_Nw, if_Ny, if_Nt) comprising architecture equipment: - a base layer (PA, RP) to an intermediary or proxy said interfaces (if_N, if_Nw, if_Ny, if_Nt) and decouple said interfaces (if_N, if_Nw, if_Ny, if_Nt) of management functions, said base layer executing distributed process comprising ( PE) to execute in a distributed manner processes concerning management of said network, each comprising executing processes at least one of an engine workflow, a rule engine and a combination thereof, and - a layer support (AA) superposed to said base layer and comprising a plurality of agents that coordinate operation of said base layer (PA, RP) for supporting distributed management functionalities. Wherein said base layer includes a sublayer proxy modules resource (RP), providing each proxy module (RP) a representation of the configuration of at least one network equipment according to an information model defined and being configured to align said representation to at least one network equipment: - carrying out management actions on said network (N); - Receiving in said proxy modules resource (RP) the notifications sent by the at least one network equipment; and - carrying out periodic checks of alignment between the representation of the network equipment and the network equipment.
