Clinical observation of treating superf icial scars with fractional Erbium laser

Objective To assess the effectiveness and safety of treating superficial scars with fractional Erbium laser.Methods The superficial scars were treated with fractional Erbium laser for 1～3 times.The curative rate was evaluated by comparing photos before and after treatment.Results The total effective rate of treatment once was 85.9%,twice was 95.1%,and three times was 95.7%.8 patients appeared pigmentation at the scars,but there was no other side-effects.Conclusion Treating the superficial scars with fractional Erbium laser can achieve satisfying outcome without so much side-effects and should be recommended for clinical application.
