The mixed boundary value problem for the elastic half space

Abstract The mixed boundary problem for the half-space occupied by an elastic medium is considered. Using the Fourier transformation the problem is reduced to the Riemann problem for the system of two pairs of functions, the solution of which is obtained in quadratures.
