The glass fiber reinforced polypropylene material consists of the following raw materials in parts by weight: 50-80 parts of high-crystallinity homopolymerization polypropylene resin, 20-35 parts of alkali-free continuous long glass fibers, 3-8 parts of a compatilizer, 0-5 parts of a toughening agent, 0.1-1 part of a nucleating agent, 0.1-1 part of a lubricant, 0.1-1 part of an ultraviolet absorbent and 0.1-1 part of an antioxidant. The invention not only endows the glass fiber reinforced polypropylene material with relatively high tensile strength, flexural modulus and hardness, but also ensures that the glass fiber reinforced polypropylene material has the characteristics of good impact strength, small molding shrinkage ratio, difficulty in aging and the like; meanwhile, the glass fiber reinforced polypropylene material is high in heat deflection temperature, good in oxidation resistance under high-temperature conditions, low in cost and light in weight, and can replace a metal material for manufacturing the swimming pool staircase footplate.
