Sticking paste for guard ring of steel paws of prebaked anode in aluminium cell

This invention relates to a ring paste for protecting the steel claw of pre-baked anode of aluminum electrolytic tank. The ring paste is composed of: recovered waste anode powder 57-67%, water 30-38%, polyacrylamide 1-3% and powdery coal asphalt 2-5%. The ring paste is produced by: (1) mixing recovered waste anode powder, powdery coal asphalt and water, and uniformly stirring; (2) adding polyacrylamide, and uniformly stirring. This invention has such advantages as low cost, simple production process, easy operation and no pollution. The ring paste has such advantages as good adhesiveness at normal temperature, easy storage and application, and low production intensity.
