2020
The expansion of the fish farm, due to the encouragement and development of research at the water quality and, for this reason, it is necessary to monitor the physical and chemical parameters of the water. This study aimed to evaluate the physical and chemical parameters of the water in the tank, the experimental cultivation of Colossoma macropomum as well as the perception of the farmers of the co-operative Republic), in the state of Para, brazil, and the quality of water for fish production. The analyses were carried out in the period from 08:00 to 11:00 pm during the months of January through April of 2018, with the interval of 15 days for the collection of the samples, with a total of eight samples collected and analyzed for each of the physical and chemical parameters. The average values of total alkalinity (15,0 mg.L-1 ± 5,3), ammonia-total (as 0.3 mg.L-1 ± 0.3), the hardness (28,7 mg.L-1 ± 6,4), nitrite (0.02 mg.L-1 ± 0.03), dissolved oxygen (8,0 mg.L-1 ± 0.5), pH (6,7 ± 0,3), temperature was (26.7 ° C ± 0,6) and transparency (54,4 cm, ± 20,4), and most were within the values established for the cultivation of fish such as the tambaqui. The study evaluated the perception of farmers, by means of the forms in which it has been observed that there is a need for technical training in order to obtain and ensure the quality of the fish.
