A study of exhaust and edge plasma parameters in the START tokamak
1995
Abstract Measurements have been made of fluctuations, and the exhaust parameters of flux, density and temperature in the START tokamak using a moveable array of Langmuir probes. Fluctuations are observed to decrease at particular times in the discharge in response to various events. SOL thickness in the exhaust have been mapped to the outside mid-plane. Power through the exhaust has been deduced from these measurements.
