Diagnosis of bovine tuberculosis

Abstract Extract In an investigation of the efficiency of some tuberculin tests on cattle (Robertson, 1963), bacteriological examinations were undertaken. Advantage was taken of this opportunity to examine strains of Mycobacterium tuberculosis associated with tuberculin sensitivity in cattle in New Zealand and to compare the efficiencies of different culture media relative to the guinea-pig inoculation test.
