Application of GL Studio and Vega Prime in Virtual Training Simulation System of a Naval Gun

A method based on virtual reality technology is an economic and efficiency method for operator training of naval gun.Aimed at the naval gun system characteristics such as huge structure and complex operation page,the virtual training simulation system of naval gun based on the panel simulation of GL Studio was designed to combine advantages of RSO,strong realism with short development cycle.The cabins model and console panel model were established by means of 3DSMax and GL Studio modeling tools.The implantation from GL Studio models to Vega Prime were realized.The interactive control of models were acquired.This method can provide perfect virtual operating environment for operators.
