Studies on exogenous growth hormone gene localization of transgenic pigs--The techniques of nonisotopic in situ hybridization on chromosomes

It was the first time to localize the exogenous PGH gene on chromosomes of transgenic pigs using nonistotopic in situ hybridization. The endogenous PGH gene was localized at 12p~(11), and the exogenous PGH genes were localized at 9q~(15)、2p~(12) and 10p~(11) respectively for different transgenic pigs. This study has demonstrated that foreign genes can be integrated in chromosomes randomly.
