Physical-contact 256-core MPO Connector with Flat Polished Multi-core Fibers

Physical contact of all the cores of ultra-high-density 256-core MPO connectors with 32 strands of 8-core fibers was achieved with a 22-N mating force by polishing method realizing flat fiber facets and small fiber-protrusion difference.
