Analysis of Centerless Grinding Process Parameters in Machining SS 316 L Steel for Improved Productivity

Power losses in transmission affect the maximum speed of the vehicle and increase the fuel consumption. This is due to improper surface quality resulting from the intend to achieve maximum productivity. The work deals with analyzing the effect of each input parameter such as regulating wheel speed, regulating wheel angle and depth of cut on the response, and obtaining the most significant parameter that controls material removal rate by analysis of variance. The most feasible set of parameters are determined by response surface methodology.
