Investigation of Factors Affecting Ownership the Household Informatics Equipment with CHAID Algorithm

In this article, Turkey Statistics Institute's Household Information Technology Usage Survey data is used for 2016 year and the state of households having informatics equipment is examined. In this study, different information equipment of households was selected as target variables, other information equipment ownership status, demographic characteristics of household and characteristics of head of household are used as input variables. The CHAID algorithm is used as the decision tree algorithm. The aim of this article is to show how ownership of information technology devices, which is an indicator of development of society, changes according to household characteristics.
