SOLUTION: A method for making dual-glass fiber products 30, 48, 110 includes supplying a spinner 60 with two streams 78, 80 of molten mineral material A, B of distinct compositions, centrifuging a dual-glass fiber 68 from the spinner 60, applying a lubricant 77 to the dual-glass fiber 68, collecting the dual-glass fibers 18, 76 as a dual-glass fiber product 30, 48, 110, and packaging the dual-glass fiber product 30, 48, 110, where the packaging step comprises rolling the dual-glass fiber product 48, 110 into a rolled package 150, where the rolling step causes a repeated compression and release of portions of the dual-glass product 48, 110.
