Finite Element Analysis and Shape Optimization on Gear of Tooth Modification

Based on parameterized modeling and meshing of ANSYS on gear, finite element modeling was analyzed through applying the torque to the gear, and tooth trace was designed by quadratic curve. The results indicate that gear of tooth modification may enhance gear's contact intensity.
