Dytiscoid,Gyrinid and Noterid Beetles of India Collected by the Japan-India Expedition in 1978

A total of twenty dytiscoid species, five gyrinid and three noterid beetles are reported from India based on examination of specimens collected by the Japan-India Expedition in 1978 and deposited in the Hokkaido University Museum. The synonymy, locality data and distribution for each species are provided.
