TEMPORAL TRENDS AND REGIONAL PATTERNS OF OPERATOR PERCUTANEOUS CORONARY INTERVENTION VOLUME IN THE UNITED STATES: A REPORT FROM THE NCDR CATHPCI REGISTRY

The 2013 ACC/AHA/SCAI clinical competence statement for PCI reduced the recommended minimum number of PCI procedures performed annually by each operator to 50 in an attempt to accommodate lower PCI volumes over the past decade. Temporal and geographic patterns of operator PCI volume are unknown.
