A remark on better λ-inequality

We generalize the inequality of R. J. Bagby and D. S. Kurtz [1] to a wider class of potentials defined in terms of Young’s functions. We make use of a certain submultiplicativity condition. We show that this condition cannot be omited. Mathematics subject classification (2000): 31C15, 42B20.
