The invention relates to a process for the preparation of poly (meth) acrylimid- (P (M) I) silicone foams filled honeycomb structures. In this method, individual cells of a honeycomb structure with P (M) I-Parikeln, which may preferably be pre-foamed, are filled and then thermally foamed. At the same time, the present invention also comprises products manufactured by means of this method, novel materials, which at a very low weight, the advantages of honeycomb structures, such as high vertical load capacity and impact resistance, with the advantages of P (M) I-foams, particularly high compressive strength in all directions and high stiffness, to each other.
