QCD tests with final state photons in hadronic events at LEP

We report on studies of energetic, isolated photons in hadronic events at LEP. Since the main source of these photons is expected to be quark final state radiation, they represent a powerful tool to study the short distance structure of QCD. Furthermore events with quark final state radiation can be used to simulate the kinematics of hard gluon emission and therefore study details of the fragmentation process.
