Investigation of the AgSi interface formed under simultaneous irradiation using a high energy ion beam

Abstract The present work concerns the residual gas adsorption, radiation-enhanced diffusion, changes in transition layer profiles and film atom penetration into the substrate which take place in silver atom deposition on a silicon substrate under simultaneous irradiation using a 50–175 keV Ar + ion beam.
