Журнализм и вызовы современных технологий: net-мышление как новый виток развития человеческих способностей

2015
The future of journalism is closely related to the transformation of public needs for information and communication. At the same time, this transformation is connected with the influence of technology not only in people’s lifestyle but also on their ability to think and reflect. Changing the principles of rationality should be understood as a challenge to professional journalism and social order to ‘restart’ the Social Institution of journalism. Responding to the challenges of our time and to the spontaneously rearranging of journalism as a branch of a socially important activity is now largely outside the scientific focus. This creates the conditions for an institutional lag from the realities of life and puts journalism at risk to become an “empty” social structure. Five arguments are discussed in this article: the security function of the person and society, journalism as an avant-garde of mass-consciousness, creolization of mass-media texts (transmedia), referential specifics of mass-media text, dialectics of factual and analytic journalism. All these positions are considered by the author as actual trends of journalism development in a close future.
