カムルチーChanna argusの尿中PH, カルシウム量および滲透圧について

1965
1. A simple method to collect urine from fish was described, using the snakehead fish, Channa argus, and the following results were obtained on the urine and blood serum of this fish. 2. Average calcium levels of urine and serum in this fish were 1.55mEq/L and 6.11mEq/L, respectively. 3. Mean value of the urinary osmotic concentration was 49.7mOsm/kg water, and that value in serum was 282.4mOsm/kg water. 4. Average pH values of urine and serum were 6.28 and 7.53, respectively, and the increase of urinary pH was observed by the administration of Diamox, an inhibitor of carbonic anhydrase. Authors thank Dr. I. HIBI and Mrs. K. YAMAGUCHJ, Department of Pediatrics, Faculty of Medicine, the University of Tokyo, for their kind assistance in the measurement of osmotic concentrotion of urine and blood serum of fish.
