Method and apparatus for demodulating a phase-modulated signal

A phase modulated signal (1) is divided into an in-phase component and a quadrature-phase component. The in-phase component is a first 1-bit analog-to-digital converter (25) and the quadrature-phase component is supplied to a second 1-bit analog-to-digital converter (26), said output signals (8; 9) of the 1-bit analog-to-digital converter (26; 27) for determining (on the phase-modulated signal 1) data modulated to be evaluated. The 1-bit analog-to-digital converter can thereby as simple comparators (26; 27) to be executed.
