Infrared diode laser spectroscopy of the NF2 radical
1979
Abstract The ν 1 and ν 3 bands of NF 2 (X 2 B 1 ) have been measured around 1100 and 930 cm −1 with tunable infrared diode lasers. Many R Q and R R components have been identified in the ν 1 band and a doublet splitting due to spin-rotation interaction is resolved in most of the transitions studied. Analysis of the ν 1 spectra yields preliminary values for the change in 1/2( B + C ) on vibrational excitation and for the largest component of the spin-rotation tensor, ϵ aa , for the upper vibrational level.
