Cadmium Thiosulfate Dihydrate.

The polymeric structure of the title compound, CdS 2 O 3 .2H 2 O, consists of tightly woven two-dimensional networks interconnected by hydrogen bonds. The Cd 2+ environment is octahedral and each thiosulfate ion binds to four different cationic sites, in simple as well as in bridging mode.
