Synthesis of hybrid optical-digital rainbow holograms and stereo holograms

Abstract A new method for recording hybrid optical-digital rainbow holograms and stereo holograms is proposed and described. A computer-generated hologram is recorded by reexposure on photosensitive media by means of the “rainbow” hologram method. Hybrid holograms and stereo holograms obtained in such a way reconstruct, with white light, 3-D objects as given by their mathematical description or by a signal. Hybrid stereo holograms provide more comfortable conditions for the viewer than digital holograms recorded by traditional techniques. Images reconstructed from hybrid stereo holograms are presented.
