Identification and control of one strain of ice nucleation active(INA) bacteria isolated from the tea plant

2011
One of ice nucleation active(INA) bacteria was isolated from the tea plant when frost occurred, and the freezing percentage of this strain was 85% at-5℃ in 2 min.The cells/ice nuclei were about 5.4×103,and the strain shows significant ice nucleation activity. After 16S rDNA sequences of the isolates in GenBank were analyzed, the strain was identified as Curtobacterium flaccumfaciens. The efficiency of chemical control order at ﹣5℃ was calcium hypochlorite Tween 80 saffron methylene blue.Under the same ecological condition,an-tagonist bacterium was isolated from the soil, which was identified as Phanerochaete chrysosporium.
