Interferontherapie der Multiplen Sklerose: Synopsis der verschiedenen Applikationsformen

In addition to the clinical efficacy, which is similar for the three approved interferon[3 preparations, the compliance and acceptance of interferon therapy are determined by several other factors. These include the mode of application, formulation, storing conditions, and injection methods. Some of these factors have been modified recently. In this article we provide a synopsis of the current application formats of the different interferon-β preparations, and discuss the respective advantages and drawbacks.
