Exhaust gas treatment device for an internal combustion engine

2015
The invention relates to an exhaust gas treatment device (24) for an internal combustion engine (12) of a motor vehicle, through which at least one of exhaust gas of the internal combustion engine (12) the first catalyst (32) arranged with at least one through-flow of the exhaust gas and downstream of the first catalyst (32) particulate filter (30) for retention of soot particles from the exhaust gas, and a flow-through with at least the exhaust gas second catalyst (28) which is arranged downstream of the particulate filter (30) and formed as an SCR catalyst. According to the invention, the first catalyst (32) is a combination of catalyst, with - a first catalyst part (40) which is designed as an SCR catalyst; - arranged one downstream of the first catalyst part (40) the second catalyst part (42) which is designed as an ammonia slip catalyst and a noble metal layer (44) having a first noble metal content has; - is arranged downstream of a second catalyst portion (42) of the third catalyst section (46) formed as an oxidation catalyst and a noble metal layer (48) having a second precious metal content; and - an SCR layer (50) formed on the noble metal layers (44, 48) of the second and third catalyst section (42, 46) and extending over the entire length (L) of the second and third catalyst section (42, 46) ,
