The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a stacked-plate cooler (1). Is essential to the invention that (a) on an outer side of the tubes 2) an adhesive layer (7) is applied by a lamination of an adhesive film (8) or an adhesive film (9), b) the tubes (2) the longitudinal end (at a connecting portion 5) are expanded by means of mandrels (10), c) the tubes (2) parallel to each other are placed so that they rest on their respective connection areas (5) flat against one another, d) the adhesive layer (7) for sticking the tubes (2) at least in the connection areas (5) is heated and the tubes (2) (via their connecting regions 5) are glued together. The invention further relates to a stacked-plate cooler produced by such a method (1).
