ТРЕНДЫ ДЕГРАДАЦИИ ПАХОТНЫХ ПОЧВ РОССИИ, ВЫЯВЛЕННЫЕ ПО СПУТНИКОВЫМ ДАННЫМ LANDSAT

Analysis of dynamics of surface color of arable soil of test plots located in the main agricultural zone of Russia during the period from 1982 to 2011 was conducted based on Landsat data. On the basis of expert analysis of color changes trends of soil degradation were detected. Most of the identified changes associated with loss of humus in the topsoil as a result of dehumification and erosion. Also, the process of increasing the area of semi - hydromorphic soils take place. To a lesser extent processes of increase of area of carbonate and saline soils occur. The soil degradation status was stable on 70.80 % of territory of test sites.
