Treatment Planning Systems and Hadron Therapy Practice in France

Radiotherapy, particularly particle therapy, is one of the main techniques used for the treatment of cancer today. The medical use of protons, with energies ranging from 60 to 250 MeV, is expanding all over the world, including in France. Since 1980, thousands of patients in France have been treated for a variety of different diseases by particle therapy.
