Plants having enhanced yield-related traits and a method for the preparation of the plant

The present invention relates generally to the field of molecular biology and relates to a plant for enhancing various economically important yield-related traits. More particularly, the present invention relates to a plant by modulating like polypeptide encoding GSBP: nucleic acid (GSBP GTP GTPase activating protein SH3 domain-binding protein) expression enhanced yield-related traits in plants. The present invention also relates to plants having modulated expression of a nucleic acid encoding a GSBP like polypeptide, which plants relative to control plants having enhanced yield-related traits.
