EFFECT OF ANOMALOUS PARTICLES DIFFUSION DAMPING IN FERROFLUID NEAR CURIE TEMPERATURE

2006
The structure and anomalous dynamics of the ferrofluid have been studied around the 2nd order transition temperature of the magnetic phase (TC~20 o C) by neutron spin-echo in nanosecond time-range to recognize the interaction of the nuclear and magnetic subsystems. The strong damping of the particles mobility due to critical magnetic fluctuations is discussed.
