Investigation on Zr-based metal-organic framework (MOF-801) for high-performance separation of light alkanes

A Zr-based metal-organic framework (MOF-801) with high thermal and chemical stability was prepared by solvethermal synthesis method. Notably, MOF-801 exhibits high separation selectivity for C3H8/CH4 and C2H6/CH4, making it possible to be a practical material for the storage and purification of light alkanes.
