Injection current phase lag effect of the flyback inverter

2011
The paper investigated the power transfer relation from primary to secondary side of the flyback inverter via step shift function. The result showed the derived equivalent injection current is identical to the injection current obtained by power balance method. Owing to the injection current contains many harmonic currents, it requires an output filter to smooth out the high frequency harmonic components of the injection current and thus can meet the specification. However, the phase lag of the injection current might be severe due to place a larger decouple capacitor. As a result, the flyback inverter might be consumed reactive power from utility. Finally, a 100W flyback inverter was built to verify the phase lag effect of the injection current with different output capacitors.
