Silicon rubber/gadoleic acid cholesterol ester liquid crystal cross linking membrane and preparation method and applications thereof

2009
The invention discloses a silicon rubber/gadoleic acid cholesterol ester liquid crystal cross linking membrane and a preparation method and applications thereof. The preparation method includes the following steps of: (1) mixing vinylsiloxane rubber with the gadoleic acid cholesterol ester liquid crystal, dissolving by tetrahydrofuran, and stirring to form uniform solution; (2) dropping a cross linker and a catalyst and conducting initial cross linking reaction at room temperature to obtain silicon rubber/liquid crystal solution; and (3) casting the silicon rubber/liquid crystal solution on polyethylene glycol terephthalate pellicle to form a membrane, drying under natural conditions to eliminate the tetrahydrofuran solvent, and striping the membrane from the pellicle after coagulation toobtain a membrane product. The invention combines the gadoleic acid cholesterol ester liquid crystal into a cross-linked silicon rubber membrane in a covalent bond way, thus not only avoiding the migration of micromolecule liquid crystal and improving the biocompatibility and antihemolysis property of the silicon rubber membrane, but also increasing the elasticity and strength of the silicon rubber membrane. The invention offers a new improvement method and reference for the application of silicon rubber membrane materials in biomedical engineering.
