Modeling and analysis of the AC/DC hybrid micro-grid with bidirectional power flow controller

2017
With the increase of DC loads, the traditional AC micro-grids can not meet the demand of system load diversity and economy. In addition, the random, time-varying and nonlinear characteristics of the distributed generation (DG) make the DG modeling and algorithm realization relatively difficult, and the coordination and cooperation between DG and energy storage(ES) complex. This paper built a hybrid AC/DC micro-grid contains the DC distribution grid. The corresponding components of the physical model and control strategy were proposed. In the experiment, this paper focuses on the research of micro components under different working conditions. The results show that the proposed hybrid AC/DC micro-grid structure is reasonable, and the control strategy and performance of the components is good. The whole system has fast response speed, and can well satisfy the requirement of system security and stability.
