ABORDAJE GRUPAL EN CATÁSTROFES (ZANJITAS, SAN LUIS)

La grupalidad en el hospital surgio como la necesidad de acompanarnos los trabajadores, en la tarea de externacion. Los grupos institucionales fueron y siguen siendo una herramienta fundamental en el logro de todo este proceso ya que son abiertos, tienen un objetivo y un encuadre terapeutico. Hay una presencia efectiva del equipo de salud lo que constituye un aspecto tranquilizador para las personas asistidas, quienes se sienten amparadas y contenidas. Este modelo de trabajo se sostiene desde el ano 1993 hasta la fecha. Cuando surge el accidente de Zanjitas, en el que choca un tren y un micro con 43 alumnas de 10 y 11 anos, la provincia no contaba con antecedentes de estas caracteristicas. En este trabajo pretendemos contar como nos organizamos para responder a algo que, si bien era una urgencia, no esperabamos que sucediera. Se destacara como elemento importante el trabajo en equipo como la mejor manera de dar respuesta tanto institucional como interinstitucional a este tipo de tragedias. El equipo de salud, la conformacion de nuevos equipos a medida que iban dandose los acontecimientos fue y sigue siendo un desafio. En este sentido, se crea un nuevo grupo terapeutico institucional en donde nos ocupamos de la problematica el duelo con los padres de las victimas fallecidas. Institutional Groups were and still are a fundamental tool in achieving this goal for they are open, have an objective and a therapeutic setting. The health team is present, what constitues a reassuring aspect for the people being assisted, who feel contained. This line of work is sustained since 1993. By the time of the Zanjitas tragedy, in which a train collides with a bus carrying 43 girl students of 10 and 11 tears old, the province didn’t have records of similar events. In this work we intent to tell how we organized to respond to something that, even though an urgency, we weren´t ready for it. Highlighting team work as the best way to respond to this. The Health Team, the making of new teams as new events were developing was and still is a challenge. In this way, a new institutional therapeutic group was created, where we dealt with the mourning problematic with the parents of the deceased victims.
