The agreement reaches 97,5 % when yeasts (non detectable in 5 hours) are excluded from this comparative study. The major discrepancies occur in certain patients treated with antibiotics or with urine specimens positive for Pseudomoms aeruginosa containing between 10.000 and 100.000 organisms/ml.
