Method for extraction of aloin

The present invention relates to a process for extracting and purifying aloin comprising the steps of: a) treating ground parts of Aloe vera with water, b) recovery of process water, optionally concentrated, c) separation solid / liquid, d) recovery of the solid fraction in an organic solvent chosen from alcohols C2-C6 linear or branched, e) solid / liquid separation, f) recovering the solid part consisting of yellow crystals aloin, g) recrystallization with hot filtration using an aqueous solvent, h) recovering concentrated aloin.
