A Simulation Model to Calculate Temperature Distribution of an Air-Conditioned Room

2016
Rapid increases in building energy consumption in recent decades have also resulted in the popular research of energy conservation. Air temperature distribution is taken into consideration for indoor environments when carrying out energy simulations. In this paper, the CFD software FLUENT combined with a network model was used to calculate the temperature distribution of an air-conditioned office room, and it was compared with the measured data. The results showed good consistency of measured data and simulated data in both steady and transient simulations of all the four working conditions. In conclusion, the FLUENT simulation model may help developing a proper real-time building energy performance management system in future study.
