Method and apparatus for measuring quality of composite video broadcast signal

The invention discloses a method for measuring the quality of a composite video broadcast signal (CVBS). The method comprises the steps of: converting pre-stored standard video code stream into the CVBS; carrying out analog-to-digital conversion on the CVBS, and respectively storing numerical values corresponding to each row of converted CVBS according to a line field synchronization signal in the converted signal; and calculating the quality of the CVBS according to the numerical values corresponding to each row of the stored CVBS. The invention also discloses an apparatus for realizing the method.
