PELATIHAN KHATIB JUM’AT BAGI REMAJA MESJID DI DESA TIMBANG LAWANKECAMATAN BAHOROK KABUPATEN LANGKAT

The purpose of this service is to improve speaking skills in the form of sermons. This type of community service is training. Participants were given sermon materials and training. Community service in the form of Friday preacher training which was held at the mosque in Timbang Lawan Village, Bahorok District, Langkat Regency. This community service was carried out on August 22, 2021. This community service was carried out in several stages, the first stage was the elaboration of material or theory to the youth of the mosque. The second stage is the training stage carried out by students to mosque youths in Timbang Lawan Village, Bahorok District, Langkat Regency. The problem faced so far is the unavailability of experts who will take place every Friday prayer, where the preacher is unable to attend or is late because the roads are often jammed or there are other reasons such as illness. After being given theoretical knowledge through lecture and discussion methods, the trainees will be given space to practice Friday preachers on various occasions. Therefore, the trainees have the ability not only theoretically but also practically. This training program will produce a community that understands and can carry out the Friday sermon.
