Objective Evaluation of Image Fusion of SAR and Optical Image

Objective evaluation index of image fusion of SAR and optical image can evaluate the performance of image fusion method objectively and quantitatively.Objective evaluation indices of image fusion of SAR and optical image are analyzed and classified.In order to obtain concise performance evaluation of image fusion,experiment is conducted to fuse pairs of SAR and optical images using several different fusion algorithms,then objective evaluation index selection is conducted with the experiment results as reference.Performance evaluation of different fusion methods is analyzed,and the results indicate the objective evaluation indices chosen are scientific and effective.
