Psychosenrisiko und Sozialverhalten: Soziale Kompetenz und soziale Kontakte bei jungen Erwachsenen mit schizotypischen bzw. zyklothymen Merkmalen

Schizotypal traits (physical anhedonia, perceptual aberration) and cyclothymic traits may identify subjects with an elevated risk for schizophrenia or/and bipolar-affective psychosis. We know from research with schizophrenic and depressed patients that deficits in social skills and difficulties in interpersonal relationships are very common among those groups. One possible way to validate our psychometric approach to psychoses proneness is to investigate social adaptation, amount of social relationships, assertiveness, and social skills. We expected that schizotypal subjects should show deficits in most of these variables.
